I'm currently using Hong Thao's scene. The music and vocal seemed to be compressed at certain level. I want to bring out the vocal more. I increased the gain on the mic but that gives out a lot of feedback from the mic. Is there a way I can adjust in the eq or somewhere else?

Cut music, that'll bring out vocal. [lol] [lol] [lol]
Remember everything is proportional. Increase main, you'll have to lower gain and mic vol.
Turn off compressor if you it's the cause.
EQ you mic to your taste and system configuration.

Correct,
Reduce the compressor ratio will definately help

Thanks guys! Do I need to set the compressor rate on the mic channel and output channels (speakers) or just the mic alone?

Happy to see X32 is active again. Many people owned X32, but we don't have official scene threads for X32. Nu_B go ahead and create threads for it.

Ben, what do you think is missing from your mix? You can try 100s of scenes but if don't know what you are missing then it'll drive you crazy.

I know what I'm missing...my knowledge to use this damn thing. Need time to watch some youtube vids.
