The XR18 have 2 more Auxs than XR16 that give you 2 more Aux output. The XR12 and XR16 you can plug in the USB Flash drive for recording. The XR18 has more balance connections on the Input Channel and more Aux. It depend on what type application you are planning to use the XR18, for house karaoke has plenty input and Aux output to different location in the house for speakers, for small stage then it has enough Aux for stage monitor. I bought XR16 because I don't like the XR12 has 1/4" Aux output. I have some experience in past that 1/4" connection tend to create static noise. Thank you very much for your help.
