Here is my problem.
I use a sound card that has optical output and this sound card can play VLC "Thuy Nga" which has 5.1 sound track.

TKaraoke won't play music on it. I only produces some broken sound repeatedly.
Please let me know if tkaraoke can't run with this kind of sound card.
My other stereo sound card work fine.

Please let me know.
Thanks,
Lynh

What are u connecting the optical out from ur sound card to? Sound like that receiver incorrectly decode PCM sound.

Also, some TN DVD's did not have true 5.1 Audio (simulating from stereo audio, that might be the problem?). JMHO

Thanks for promptly response!
I change the windows system sound mixer to digital device only and it is working good now.
I also I updated the software to the latest version as well (1.4.0.095) and not sure if that also help.

Many thanks,

Lynh
