I would like to thank the developers of tkaraoke for their hard work on releasing such a dynamic software that can satisfy the karaoke addicts [biggrin]

I have just downloaded this software today and it really fits for what I've been searching for months. [love]

However, I'm running into a problem and that is the program would crash every now and then. I don't know what triggers it but this is the error that I get

TKaraoke.exe - Application Error

Application has generated an exception that could not be handled.

Process ID=0x720 (1824), Thread ID=0xf00 (3840).

Click OK to terminate the application.
Click CANCEL to debug the application.

OK Cancel

I'm running on a Windows 7 OS
anyone know what's going on?

How many songs you got and what format are they (Vob, Avi, Mkv, or what)?

Nỗi buồn vương vấn đâu đây
Đưa ta vào chốn lưu đày thế giang
Nghiệp này kiếp trước đã mang

Can you get TKaraoke to crash on the same song? In another word, when it crashes, pay attention to which song it is playing and try to play that song again to see if it crash again. If you can get it to always crash on a particular song, I can quickly help you fix this problem.

Hmmm, I'm going to try 1.4.0.80 to verify the crash [confused]

i've been using the software again today an still running into the app error

TKaraoke.exe - Application Error

Application has generated an exception that could not be handled.

Process ID=0x37c (892), Thread ID=0x17d8 (6104).

Click OK to terminate the application.
Click CANCEL to debug the application.

[confused]

i've noticed sometimes it would try to load the song and the loading screen "wait" is on for a split second then it would crash. Sometimes it crashed so fast that it doesn't even have the error window

it doesn't necessary be the same exact file but I think it's just some sort of sequence I'm doing that causing it to crash

I need a repeatable steps to get it to crash. TKaraoke have hundreds if not thousands of users and no one ran into this random crash issue. Try playing some MKV songs you saw on this forum. Did you try on another computer? If you have only one computer, try upgrading the video driver.

hi all -

thanks for all your times. I listened to your advice and updated the video driver. seems to be functional now. Although it did crash once at the beginning but it has been running fine after repetitive steps such as turn it on and off and opening other programs. I'll report back if I see anything else but I'm so glad I was able to stumbled into such a great software. It completes what we needed for our HTPC
