You can use
MKVMerge GUI to add more audio tracks to your vob/mkv karaoke file. TKaraoke can switch to any of the audio tracks using the "toggle audio" button on the toolbar or CTRL+H on the keyboard, or # on the remote. If there is a high demand for this, we can add this functionality into TKT to queue up many songs at once.
Using this technique, you can add a "song ca" track into the karaoke song file. The end result is that there are N audio tracks:
1. Track 1 contains vocal + music
2. Track 2 contains music only
3. Track 3 contains music + female vocal only
4. Track 4 contains music + male vocal only
A sample karaoke with 3 audio tracks:
Gõ Cửa Trái Tim. In this song, Hồng Thảo sing the female vocal track (track 3). You can then switch to track 3 and sing the male part and record it to have a complete "song ca" song.
If the audio track you are adding is recorded automatically by TKaraoke, that audio track will be:
1. v1.4.0.086 or earlier: About 2.0 seconds shorter than the audio tracks in the original vob/mkv file.
2. v1.4.0.088 or later: About 0.5 second shorter than the audio tracks in the original vob/mkv file.
To have the new audio track totally in-sync with the video, you should add the equal amount of delay. Use 2000 for 2 seconds and 500 for 0.5 second.
If the audio track you are adding is recorded manually, it will most likely be longer. This is a more tricky case. Try using a negative delay - not sure what happen near the end where the video ended but the audio track is still on. Or you can use CoolEdit to cut the beginning and the end to match the length of the vob/mkv file.
