In the next build of TKaraokePro2, it will support playing 8K songs on machines with a decent GPU (i.e. Nvidia 1060 or better). We will also release a few new songs in 8K resolution (7680 x 4320). 8K TVs are still pretty expensive but 8K videos on a 4K TV is looking very very nice just like 4K videos on 1080p TVs ![[laugh]](/Images/Emoticons/msp_laugh.gif) . TKaraokePro2 will stay ahead of the game on this front and we will continuously release 8K songs for those who are ahead of the game in the television front. Note that on the TKaraokeUSB front, even the Nvidia Shield TV 2017 can't handle 8K songs so until the 2019 version of Shield come out, 8K songs on TKaraokeUSB won't be happening yet. Who in here has an 8K TV or 8K monitor? Edited by user Monday, December 03, 2018 9:53:29 AM(UTC)

Build 011 of TKaraokePro2 has been released. If you have a decent video card, playing 8K songs is now possible. Here are some 8K songs for the early birds to try. I promise will release more and more songs in 8K - editing and rendering these 8K songs takes a long time even on my powerful i7 and GTX 1070 machine ![[laugh]](/Images/Emoticons/msp_laugh.gif) . 8K Songs Download: 1. Feliz Navidad (8K) - Dam Vinh Hung - TKHD |

Are you sure? Seems too good to be true for an onboard card playing 8K smoothly. Can you look at the %CPU and %GPU to see if it's using CPU to decode or actually using GPU? |

That 8K clip was played w/o any hiccups on Intel HD 620 via VLC player on my full-HD screen i3-7100 8GB laptop while I am still having a bunch of tabs opened on Firefox and Chrome at the same time. CPU ~3% GPU ~60% The contents of 4K are currently too little to get played still, let alone 8K w/ virtually no contents and its ridiculously hefty price tag as of today. If you have too much $ to call yourself a "trendsetter" or whatever-else (try to nicely name yourself here) then that's the end of discussion. But for the rest of us, if sane enough, wait at least a year or more to even throw your bucks in, if any at all. Mr. Google is easy to reach for yourself. Some that are worth reading: https://mashable.com/article/8k-tvs/#ZvsZuh_.CPqwhttps://www.engadget.com/2018/04/25/8k-tvs-dont-buy-the-hype/Edited by user Tuesday, December 04, 2018 8:32:15 PM(UTC)
