Sprint just announced that the best of Android phone is coming this June. It is the first phone with HDMI output! It would be very cool to have TKaraoke run on Android, this new phone particularly. Eventually, when this phone has USB/eSATA port, then it can connect to an external USB/eSATA hard drive which contains .vob or .mkv files. What you all think? I think i just got the genius idea

how powerful the CPU of smart phone ?
remember MKV format encode h264 codec ( slow PC even can't Play it), or VOB with mpeg2 codec also CPU intensive.

It has Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ QSD8650 (1GHz) processor, the fastest CPU for smartphone so far.

Sounds interesting. Android is an open platform so the chance of running TKaraoke on it is much higher than the iPhone. We'll have to see how the HDMI port on this phone work and see how many people are actually interested in supporting this phone. Thanks for bringing up this cool idea. |

Also, the Amazon Fire TV is a good android platform. If Tkaraoke can run on this device there is great selling point for Tkaraoke. We need to put a dent into "Lemon KTV" karaoke as it gaining so much traction now and it is not as powerful as Tkaraoke. Let's take Tkaraoke to the next level.

Please do this soon, most of these android boxes already have hardware encode build-in and H265 which has very good compressed video streaming, so CPU will not be an issue playing 1080P or even 4k video. skplayer on google play already had a head start using http://superpowered.com engine to play sound and making a killing money selling karaoke app. ($25 a download). I would love to see tKaraoke be able to play on android box (Please don't do it for phone because there are so many apps already and they're all useless ) Lemon KTV is terrible because it's so hard to add song to existing song database. On the other hand, skplayer can add song easily by just add the song to the hard drive.

Seriously, you can easy get 500-1000 download a month for $20 easily if Tkaraoke is available for android box TV. It's in great demand.
