What settings do you set to keep TKaraokeUSB and TKaraokeSB connected?
I often have an issue with TKaraokeSB can't to find TKaraoke Device. They are all on the same wifi. TKaraokeSB worked for awhile then it quit - Same for both iPad and Android Phone. The only thing to get it back is to cycle power on the MIBOX. Restarting TKaraokeUSB or power OFF/ON on the iPad or Android Phone didn't work.

Sounds like a networking issue on the MiBox. When this happen, can your MiBox go online? Its internet connection probably went down. Recommend connecting the MiBox to a different WiFi (try 2.4GHz only). |

Is it a known internet issue with the MiBox on this frequency?

My mibox is on 5ghz but signal is 1/2 way. 2.4ghz is full bar but slower.

2.4GHz seems to work ok for now. Lots of complaints about MiBox on 5GHz online

Is it a known internet issue with the MiBox on this frequency? I have setup over 20 MiBoxes and sometimes it doesn’t connect to 5GHz band right. 5GHz is fast but performance drops sharply with signal strength so 2.4 GHz is your best bet when all you do is use WiFi for voice search and SB (your songs are already locally on USB hard drive). |

Does your phone/tablet also have to be on 2.4 GHz in order to connect TKaraokeSB to TKaraokeUSB?

Sometime, I'm having connection issues from tKaraokeSB (android phone) to tKaraokeUSB. Once it not connected, the only way to fix is to reboot the Mi Box. What is the process that running in the background to advertise it's a tKaraokeUSB device? Anyone having this issue?
Thanks, JD

The discovery service is part of the TKaraokeUSB process. Next time it happen, try running the YouTube app and see if it can reach the internet. My guess is that your MiBox network connectivity is down at that time and w/o connectivity, there isn't much TKaraokeUSB can do to help the SB discover it. |
