Step 5 - Using TKaraokeUSB
Connect your hard drive to your Android Box via the USB port and run TKaraokeUSB. If it is your first time running, it will ask you to give Storage Permission. This is because TKaraoke needs to read your hard drive to play the songs. Select Allow to continue. If anything goes wrong (such as TKaraoke can't find any song), the info will be shown on your TV so keep an eye on the TV screen. If you made changes to your song collection, select Hard Exit in TKaraoke and start TKaraokeUSB again. Hard Exit will force TKaraoke to rescan songs on the next run.
When I connect the 3A hard drive to Mibox, it asked me to format the drive.
Of course I did'nt do it.
When I connected to local service. I displayed no song found.
Please help.

thanks in advance. Which MiBox version do you have? Did you purchase it from Walmart? If you have File Manager apps like ES Explorer installed, please uninstall it. Try restarting your MiBox device and go to Settings --> Storage & Reset to see if it recognizes the drive? |

At the begining, I tried to use the regular TKaraoke(server) app and I purchased $20 to connect to local server, but it did'nt work. I did'nt realized that I have to install another app USBTKaraoke. Now it's working with 3A hard drive, USBTkaraoke and Mibox. All are talking (karaoking).
