I have been setting up some Tkaraoke Pro systems for a few friends. Often time, the users are either lack on computer skills or have friends that are too smart of an a** to go into the menu to change things around which messed up my optimal settings. And when this happens, I have to Teamview and fixed it. This would create an impression that Tkaraoke is buggy and unreliable. Please add a feature where the menu would gray out (File, Options, Tools) for Normal Operation with just the <Help> menu where you'll have an <Expert / Advance> button with password to unlock the menu. BTW, the password can just be "tkaraoke" This would prevents people from changing Files, Options and Tools. Edited by user Friday, January 22, 2016 12:25:27 PM(UTC)

This feature has been implemented in build 122. To lock the menus, create a file called Menu.Lock and put it in the folder where TKaraokePro.exe is. When this file is present, all menus will be locked and the user can only exit the app via the X button (upper-right corner). |
