This new feature will be available in v1.5.027 that will come out in a few days. Here is a sneak preview of how this feature work. I appreciate early feedback before build 027 is released.

This feature addresses the following requests:
1. Randomly play songs when the Song Queue is empty
2. Provide the ability to play a tutorial or "show off" video when idling

To enable this feature, check Options-->Play When Idle-->Enable
To change settings, click on Options-->Play When Idle-->Settings...
The settings will be saved across runs. Hence, if you Enable this feature during the previous run and your Song Queue was empty before you exit in the previous run, a random song will be played at the startup on the next run.

When enabled, the following will happen:
1. A random song will be played if the Song Queue is empty.
2. This randomly chosen song will not be saved into the "most played" and "most recent" list on the Songbook site.
3. As soon as a new song is entered into the Queue (via double-clicking on a song in TKaraoke, via the remote, or via the Songbook site), the random playing song will be skipped so the newly entered song can start playing immediately.
4. The random song will play with "Audio Track 1" regardless of whether Options-->Start Song With Audio Track 2 is checked or not. This behavior can be overwritten using the settings on Options-->Play When Idle-->Settings...
5. The random song can be skipped anytime (using Ctrl+N, remote, or songbook site). The next random song will be played.
6. The same video will be played over and over again if the user selects to play a "tutorial/showoff video" instead of random songs.

The settings dialog will allow the user to change the following:
1. Specify a "tutorial/showoff video" file to play when idling or select option "random song" to play random songs from the loaded song collection.
2. Select which audio track to play when playing random/tutorial songs
3. Select whether to exclude kmp3 songs from being selected as a random song

This feature can be turned on/off using TKaraoke menu (mouse), a shortcut (keyboard) or songbook site.

Version 1.5.027 will be released tonight with this "play when idle" feature. To enable or disable this feature, check or uncheck Options-->Play-When-Idle-->Enable. You can also enable/disable this feature using shortcut Ctrl+W or pressing the * button on the remote.

The settings for this feature look like this:
UserPostedImage

Select the first option to random play songs from your karaoke collection. Uncheck "play kmp3 files" to exclude kmp3 songs when picking a random song. Check "always play song with audio track 1" to play songs in "nhạc mode" when playing while idle. Uncheck this option will play the random song like playing a regular karaoke song (starting audio track is based on the setting set on the Options menu).

Select the second option to play your favorite video (TKaraoke tutorial video, your wedding video, etc.) while idling.

Select the third option to play your favorite mp3 file idling. Mp3 files will be played randomly without replacement. "With replacement" play will be supported in the future.
