Các bước chuẩn bị trước khi test chức năng:

Step 1: Run TKaraoke (Pro hoặc Free)
Step 2: Generate Song Catalog
Đây là format mà test program dùng: %number%---%song%---%singer%---%lyric%
Step 3: Run OnlineSongbookDemo - Download OnlineSongbookDemo
Step 4: Add Songs: File -> Add Songs -> Chọn đến file TKaraoke Song Catalog.txt đã làm ở step 2.
Step 5: Set up Lyrics DB account: Tools -> Online Songbook & Lyrics Database -> Rreferences


Step 6: Publish songbook:
Chọn Tools -> Online Songbook & Lyrics Database -> Publish Songbook



Test chức năng:

Song queue tren online songbook

Step 1: Vào your songbook address (có thể dùng Iphone, Android, laptop, desktop …)
Vi dụ: My songbook address: http://sb.tkaraoke.org/1056/
Lưu ý: Bạn phải đăng nhập dùng account ở Lyrics DB hoặc dùng access key mới dùng được chức năng này


Step 2: Tìm bài hát
Step 3: Bấm vào dấu "+" để add song to the queue.


Nếu bạn add bài hát bị sai thì bấm vào dấu "X" để remove song from the queue


Step 4: Bấm vào Queue link để vào your song queue.
Step 5: Sắp xếp lại queue

No, the test program can only understand the format: %number%---%song%---%singer%---%lyric%
It's not as powerful as TKaraoke where you can specify any format you want. For testing purposes, please use the above exact format. You can change anytime later in TKaraoke.

Version 1.01 released. Note that the player won't play your songs... It will show the song it suppose to be playing (Now playing: song x) and the next song but it's not actually playing the song (i.e. no sound, no video). You can see the queue can be changed remotely via a phone. You can double-click on a song in that test app to add that song to the queue. The Song Queue should be in sync with the Queue you see online via your phone.

Note that you will need the Access Key (this key changes every time you run TKaraoke) OR your Lyrics DB account to manage your Song Queue online. The Access Key is a "one-time" key so it's useful to give that to your party Guests. Keep the Lyrics DB account to yourself so that you can "keep me logged in" to access your Song Queue anytime w/o entering the Access Key. If someone knows your Lyrics DB account password, they can change your Song Queue in TKaraoke remotely from across the world! So be careful don't let someone over China ruin your karaoke party! [laugh][laugh]

Some testing scenario:
1. Basic usage testing (add song using app, add song using phone, change song position in queue, remove song from app/phone, clear songs)
2. While the test app is running, the network disconnects your Internet connection.
3. The app closes down unexpectedly (kill it via Task Manager)

Suggestion and not sure if this is a good idea and I know this is just a first test version

  • Remove the CLEAR option for GUEST. This is to avoid guests from wrongly clicked on that
    Remove the ALBUM/TRUNG TAM off from the song list.
    The style format in the QUEUE should be the same as the SONG LIST. It should have a shade in every other rows
    Optional: HEADER or Song Menu/Danh Sach, would be nice to scroll along. Some people have a very long list, it's time consuming to scroll all the way to click on the QUEUE or they decided to sort by alphabet


Bugs?
In the SONGS List
Once the song is added, the Plus sign becomes an X sign. What's the point of having it there if the remove function does not exist in the SONG LIST? If it is there to indicate that the song is added, then should it be a checked sign?

  • How long does it take to update the song queue? Mine seems to be forever, and it's local.
    I clicked on QUEUE in the web interface, clicked the X to remove a song. The song is removed from the web. However, it still tells me that there is 1 song in my queue, then after a few seconds, browser refreshed and I still see that same song in there.

-Disregard this bug, I guess this is made for handheld devices not for PC. I was trying to add/remove songs from my Win7 via IE9 browser. It randomly works. However, it works just fine on my iphone & Chrome. Didnt have a chance to test the other browsers. It must be an IE issue. Not important I guess.

Got everything as expected except when I used my phone (also my PC) to add songs to the queue ---> I do not see the "+" symbol to add any song.

Yes, I did log in to my own song book using Nexus phone

Did you published your songbook using that test program? It should show an Access Key at the bottom-left corner if you published your songbook.

You can X out a song in the Song List the same way you can in the Song Queue. Currently, the X-ing out is working in the Song Queue but not the Song List. This is a bug and will be fixed today.

Yes, I did. And I saw a 5-digit access code.

But I did not use that code, I logged in the songbook using user name and password.

Should I use the access code to log in?

I noticed that this songbook publish address (sb.tkaraoke.org/xxx) is different from original songbook (sb.tkaraoke.com/xxxx). You have to access this sb.tkaraoke.org/xxxx in order to see "+" to add song.
