The site's founder were charged with violation of piracy laws.

I have nothing uploaded on megaupload, so it's no big deal, but for download I prefer Rapidshare because there's no caption to type and no need to renew the ip.
Jdownloader doesn't automatically fill the filsonic caption in my experience.

well, if Megaupload is shut down, then others like Fileshare, Rapidshare, Filesonic and stuffs would be next!!

Yeah, but it's a little taste of SOPA. When and if it pass, it's just not sites like megaupload that will go. The bill has so "BROAD" definitions that it will give effective total control on any website, including this one.

And your right mediafire is awesome, I forgot about that one.

FileSonic rewards uploader a lot, which suggests they are trying to expend. It's fishy the way they offer big reward for uploaders. Mediafire has been around for a long time and is probably more stable.

Anyway to batch upload or batch download using mediafire?

JDownload can do it (if the links are not password protected)
