I am using Pro version 1.5.021. I had 9 folders in my karaoke directory with the following naming convention...1a. ParisByNight, 1b. ParisByNight!!, 2a. Asia, 2b. Asia!!, etc... My collection has recently expanded and I have added folder #10. When rescanning the directory, TKaraoke actually picked up Folder #10, first even before 1a and 1b. How did I know that it actually picked up #10 first? I placed a few songs in folder #10 and sure enough, these are the first few songs on my list after rescanned. I could certainly rename my folders to avoid this conflict, but this obviously is a bug and need to get fixed. THANKS!

I wonder if TKaraoke reads 10 before 1a [confused] If that's the case then you should rename the folders as: 01a, 01b, 02a, 02b, ...., 10a, 10b
Just my 2 cents

This is not a bug. TKaraoke process your folders in alphabetical order not numerical order. Numbers come before letters in alphabetical order. If you are not convinced, see section 3 of this document (quoted below):
Quote:
The basic order of characters should be in the following sequence:
spaces
symbols other than numerals, letters, and punctuation marks
numerals (0 through 9)
letters (A through Z)

Thanks for the quick reply guys! Like I said, I can certainly work around this. However, it seems strange to me that we actually scan (10. MyFolder) before (1. MyFolder). I will definitely spend sometimes with that document to see why it is so.

This is why we all name our songs the way we do in the Song Listing sub-forum (i.e. this one). Notice the track numbers of all the song listing posts are "01", "02", "03", ..., "10", "11"... The reason is "02" comes before "10" but "2" comes after "10" in alphabetical order.
