Uninstall your ALL Sound Box DRIVERS.
Shutdown your computer (Do not Restart!)
Turn on your Computer.
Reinstall the DRIVERS.

NOTE:
You may want to check if new drivers are available!
It wouuld be advisable to run a utility program to clean the Registry AFTER you start your computer.

i know what is happening now, some how the recording sound not come from the mixing amp back to the computer but the recording comes from the speakers and the tkaraoke just pick it up and record it along with my voice talking with my friend. but i don't know how to make the recordings from the mixing amp back to the line in of the usb audio sound card works.

Chào Karalover,

I had have listen on ur recording.
Four year ago, I think I ran into the same problem u have right now. I try to adjust the recording volume and the distortion is still exist. I try to control the mixer output then the playback level is become too low. So I want to try to use the pre amp. At that time, I don't have pre amp so I used the compressor dbx 166xl as pre amp to control the recording level input and keep the software recording level at 50%. After I used the compressor, I found no distortion on the recording.

I think any software recording level is very sensitive. The mic is causing the distortion more than the music.
Just try to record the music and raise ur voice loud when u sing a song, playback and watch the level indicator is spike in the red section. The level is in the red section then u will hear the distortion.

I think the recording software I have before or ur external audio sound card may not has built in with compressor. That y the software is not able to control the strong signal coming in the recording input.

Hope this share info may help u.

Right Click on the speaker icon on the task bar (near the bottom of the screen) then select recording.
Choose "USB Line In" for recording

Yeah, it sounds like Tkaraoke was using a laptop's internal microphone to record the whole environment instead of using the USB line in. Make sure you also disable your laptop's microphone as a safety.

yes, it was the internal microphone audio device from laptop recorded the sound, that caused distorted sound after i disabled it then i was be able to record the sound from the mixing amps. however, the recording sounds from the mixing amps only achieved about 60% quality compare to the live sound when i tried to turn up the volume then the sound became distored again. So i am going to looking at the advice from Bpham at this point to get a better quality recording sounds. Thank you all for the helps

The recording below was recorded live using TKaraoke via a Sony laptop with built-in sound card. If you already a mixer, I doubt that the quality of the sound card will be noticeable difference. W/o a mixer, you might need to crank up amplification to get loud-enough-sound and in cheap sound card, it might pickup unwanted noise. What mixer do you have and how are you connecting the components together?

Chào Karalover,
Have u come up with the solution to fix the distortion yet?
Few day ago, I try to record and I run into the distortion problem.
It sound no distortion while I singing but when listen to the recording, it has distortion.
I tb-shooting and found the laptop recording indicator showed too much signal in.
I have to move the mixer main volume control down to -30 to prevent recording level from peak out. then I can not hear the music and the vocal.
Most mixer has pre out, then u have to use some type of volume controller to control the signal input.
The mixer I used, it does not has pre out then I have to control the main volume.
I have to move the music channel strip volume up to -2.5, I move vocal channel strip volume up to -5 to where I can hear both music and vocal. Also I can see and adjust the control volume so the recording indicator is not peak out.
I use Tkaraoke with Sony Vaio laptop with built in card, the recording is sound fine.
The song below I just recording few day ago.

you'll need a cable to connect your mixer line-out to laptop mic/line-in then enable recording function in Tkaraoke. For best result, you might want to invest in a decent usb interface like the Cakewalk UA-1G (I have this device) versus your laptop built-in soundcard is really weak and can create noise or distortion problem when recording.
