Convert VCD to DVD format then play but I can not turn off the audio for karaoke. Is it possible?

Don't need to convert VCD (.dat) files to DVD (.vob) format...
just change (rename) the file extension from .dat to .mpg then Tkaraoke will be able to play...
there's news that said the new TK pro will be able to play .dat files just fine. In that case, if you don't wanna go thru the hassle of changing, just get the new TK pro! It is recommended for is functions and features!!

Both Pro and Free version support VCD files (.DAT).

It's a choice that the users have. Don't need to buy Pro just for playing VCDs [lol]. See differences between Pro and Free below:
