1. Support 5 digit song number (update via remote) - What does this mean? Does is mean for the non-pro version, even when you use the remote, pressing 1, then the song number won't work, and that you have to press 1 on the keyboard to get it to work? And the difference with the Pro is that you can do all of that via the remote?
2. Support HD songs - Does this mean if the source file is 720P or higher quality, non-pro TKaraoke won't play? or non-pro TKaraoke won't work with HDTV no matter what the source is?
Thanks for answering and keep up the great work :D
1. Free version supports the remote control exactly like Pro version but it only has 4-digits so the max song number is 9999. Pro version supports 5 digits so the max song number is 99999. 0 to 9999 (4 digits) is 10000 songs. 0 to 99999 (5 digits) is 100000 songs.
2. Free version won't play 720p or higher resolution songs. It will display a message "this version can't play this HD song" when you tried to play an 720p+ song. Free version can be connect to an HDTV with 1920x1080 resolution or even higher resolution, there is no limit on the resolution of the output signal.
It's not our intention to make the Free version so limited that it's useless. The Pro version exists as the requests of supporters of TKaraoke to help fund the project. Those who can't afford the Pro can enjoy the Free version as it still is quite powerful (10000 songs is a lot of songs and you rarely see any "trial" version that has that big of a limit).
