Yes Alf. That's the problem I am getting at. The file itself has track one as karaoke and track two as music. Therefore, I used the (!!) to swap track in Tkaraoke but it does not work. In so far, out of my 17000 songs collection, I have only 1 album and a few misc. songs with this problem. Which is not so bad. I realize this when I used the MKV merge to swap track, if I select "no" on the "select track flag" section the file works according but if I just leave it as "default" this situation arises. I am just hoping for a little insight. Thanks.

Sounded that it works 99.9 percent for you and look at the hilite - I would just forget about the issue especially when you are dealing with MKV conversion!

Happy KARA!

Yeah. I guess I am just a little picky 'cause sometimes when you are in a karaoke mode and the singer voice pops up, it's annoying. I think I am going to try to play around with the mkv merge again to fix those files. Thanks anyway.

I just want to clarify that when I open the file using vlc player, the default track is track 2. I have a few files that have this problem. I don't know if that makes a difference. Thanks.

If you use VLC v1.1x, it should behave like TKaraoke. In MKV, there is a concept of the "default track". The "default track" is the track that get played when you start the song (w/o the "!!"). Hence, "Track 1" doesn't mean it will be the track that get played when starting the song - the default track is what counts For this song, the default track is track 2 (Trường Vũ's voice). You can use TKT to swap the tracks quickly w/o remuxing.

Thanks for the advice anh V. I need to make better use of the TKT tools.
